The hotel canceled the reservation 6 days before the check-in date without providing an equivalent alternative. Very poor service; consider carefully before booking.

I called to inquire about room availability and was informed that there were no rooms available, despite the fact that their website and booking platform showed availability.

The rooms are nice and clean. There's a charming garden that offers a stunning view of the sea. The staff is extremely friendly. I am very satisfied.

Our family stayed at Maison La Mer at June 2019. The hotel is really nice and cozy, with a fresh renovation both inside and out. The rooms are finely decorated, offering a refreshing change from typical hotel styles. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, including wipers and dishwashing gel. The mattresses are super comfortable! Be mindful of mosquitoes; an extra fumigation device would be handy, although we had one in the apartment. The bathroom is a bit small and ascetic, with a low ceiling and no shower curtain. However, I think a curtain would be a bad idea as it wouldn't dry properly, so it's better without it. Just wipe the floor after showering, and there's no problem at all. The boiler and plumbing system worked well. There was no plastic tub for washing clothes, but the sink is huge, and you can ask the hosts for laundry service. The small balcony with a seaside view was fully furnished for enjoying a cup of morning coffee or even a family lunch, but the plastic chairs weren't very nice and somewhat spoiled the overall impression. The part of the hotel closer to the sea has a lovely but somewhat unkempt inner garden. It would be fantastic if the hosts improved it, as proper landscape design is very important in such places, and this one has great potential. The same goes for another building; more flowers and fresh grass in front would be wonderful. The host and staff are VERY helpful and friendly. Just after our arrival, Giannis gave us his Viber number so we could contact him anytime for any need. He responded quickly and tried to help with any problem. He is very polite, nice to talk to, and speaks fluent English. The housemaids were also very friendly and diligent, providing fresh snow-white linen and towels every three days and emptying garbage baskets daily. The beach right in front of the hotel may not be suitable for everyone, especially kids. It's a pebble beach with stones in the water and sea urchins. We preferred to take a 5-minute walk to the central Loutra beach, which has sand and an easy entry without stones. On the other side of the beach, snorkeling is possible, so it caters to various needs. Despite some minor drawbacks, I loved my stay at the hotel and in the village. I would be happy to return. Loutra itself is a lovely, uncrowded provincial place, which is essential.
