Ocean Paradise Beach

The owner and his team of four, including the chef, are the standout features of Ocean Paradise due to their cheerful, accommodating, and welcoming demeanor. Their personal touch is truly heartwarming, especially in how they have adopted and care for Indie dogs. The resort is situated far from the main city, adjacent to Veelondi Theertham and about 100 meters from the beach. We stayed for two days in the main Rameshwaram area to do darshan and visit Dhanushkodi, then moved here to visit Pamban Bridge, Vivekanand Memorial, and to relax and soak in the local atmosphere. Facing the ocean, the resort features a gazebo for dining and four rooms. The kitchen is open, and while the mattress is a bit firm, towels and soaps are provided. Be sure to bring your own slippers, dental kits, hair care products, and other toiletries. Meals can be served in the rooms or the gazebo, and the food is homely and delicious. Breakfast includes dosas and idlis, while lunch and dinner need to be ordered in advance. The fried fish and prawns are delightful, with all dishes carrying a South Indian flavor.

We stayed here for one night on January 27th. This place truly deserves all the positive reviews for their dedication in maintaining a tranquil resort. Our kids, aged 7 and 5, had an absolute blast. It's truly a paradise for anyone looking to spend quality time with family. The staff is incredibly proactive and takes excellent care of the guests. Akilan is a gem of a person—down to earth, warm, and prioritizes ensuring his guests have a fantastic holiday. In Rameshwaram, this is a MUST-stay place.

Ocean Paradise is a beautiful property with a gentleman host and excellent support staff. Host Mr. Akilan was very welcoming and friendly. The property is just a few meters from the beach and is somewhat isolated, far from the usual chaos and crowds. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very supportive. It's a perfect place to spend time with family or friends. I wish I could have spent a few more days there! :)

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. I can confidently say it was the most memorable stay for anyone visiting Rameshvaram. The location is right by the beach. The ginger tea is fantastic, the breakfast is great, and the hospitality from Akilan brother is exceptional. Never before has a resort owner checked in to see if I reached my destination safely, but Akilan made sure to meet us before our departure and followed up to ensure we arrived safely. The property also offers scuba diving, kayaking, and snorkeling. The place is well-maintained and the cleanliness is impeccable. Thank you, Akilan ❤️🙏

Stayed with my family for 2 nights. As a vegetarian family, all our dietary requests were well accommodated. We traveled from Bangalore, and host Akilan was incredibly helpful, ensuring we reached the place without any hassle. The dogs at the property were a delight and very friendly, clearly well cared for. The private beach just outside provided a very relaxing and soothing atmosphere. Overall, our family had a wonderful time. Thanks to brother Akilan, his friends, and the staff for being such great hosts.
