Lido Solero Beach

A cozy pizzeria and beachside restaurant with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere where courtesy and kindness are paramount. The cuisine is excellent, featuring fresh fish and a diverse menu, all served very quickly. Highly recommended. I will definitely return as soon as possible.

Finally, a Lido open and ready for those like me who love the sea and holidays at the end of September. This Lido offers a restaurant and full service from breakfast to dinner. For lunch, we took the Chef's recommendation: spaghetti with sardines and crunchy crumbs, gnocchi with shrimp, yellow tomatoes, and a Burrata pour... a delight for both the eyes and the palate. The portions were generous. The land appetizer with typical products was excellent! I must highlight the competence, professionalism, and hospitality of the staff. A great discovery. Long live Calabria and those who keep tourism vibrant with high quality and a warm welcome, even "out of season." We will definitely return. Ah, and the quality for the price... what can I say? Perfect.

The cuisine is excellent, with generous portions and a friendly staff. Even if it's not listed on the menu, ask for "pennette all'arrabbiata"; it's a real treat for chili pepper enthusiasts and works wonders against viruses, better than Pfizer 😉. The sandwiches, which require a good jaw stretch, are also fantastic 😁. The spaghetti with local anchovies and the Primavera pizza (see photo) are equally superb, slurp 🤤. This evening, I was pleasantly surprised by the courteous, quick, and professional service. Well done! I'm giving 4 stars, confident that you will maintain this level of service even during the busiest times. 👍 Prices are now comparable to those in more northern regions 😔. However, if the service remains consistently good, it's worth it... enjoying a delicious dinner with a sunset over the sea is truly priceless.

The lido is located on the outskirts of Marina di Fuscaldo along the seafront, just past the iron bridge that leads to Cariglio, near state road 18. It's a well-equipped place from a seaside perspective. I plan to evaluate the kitchen later and will update this review based on my experience with lunch and dinner. In August, I visited the Solero Beach Lido and had two sandwiches made with pizza dough. Both the dough and the fillings were of really good quality. I didn't notice any major issues with the ingredients inside the sandwich; everything seemed normal. However, the staff is very young and doesn't pay much attention to the customer, who expects to be served and welcomed with elegance and simplicity. The place itself is quite beautiful, featuring an outdoor swimming pool and an unused dance floor. The tables are well distributed, with some outside and others inside under an exposed wooden roof. The venue could benefit from more promotion and better management. It needs to be more professional, perhaps even introducing uniforms for the staff. The external walls need cleaning, and the floors could be better maintained. The venue has great potential for hosting culinary and musical events, which could attract many visitors from various areas. However, better competence in managing the place is essential. The bathrooms also need improvement; they should be more accessible and cleaner. The coin-operated showers are a bit excessive—offering them for free to customers who dine there would encourage repeat visits. Improving the attached bathrooms facing the street could significantly boost the economic situation. More advertising and evening events would also help.
