Decent value for the price, but there’s no fridge in the room. Complimentary water is only provided for the first night, and the rooms aren’t cleaned during your stay. The resort is quite large, boasting over 100 rooms.

Perfect location for the Full Moon Party, just a 15-minute walk away. There's an incredible Thai restaurant right across from the hotel on the main road—absolutely delicious. Our family room was very spacious and, despite being next to the loud music, we slept well. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us with all our backpacks and kids when heading to the ferry. Extra towels and duvets were provided upon request. The laundry service was quick and efficient. Fantastic hotel!

Filthy, filthy, filthy! The air conditioning barely works and is extremely loud. The bed sheets are dirty and covered in strange stains. The staff seems clueless and the place is very disorganized. We arrived at the 2pm check-in time only to be told our room wasn't ready. There were no towels in the room, and we were told to wait until 6pm and then go down to the restaurant to get them ourselves. Additionally, there was dog feces on the walkway balcony on the second floor that had been there for days and still hadn't been cleaned up.

The location is just around the corner from the hustle and bustle, which might be perfect for some but a bit too far for others. It suited our needs well. The food is simple and more expensive compared to other places. The rooms are basic, and our AC didn't work, but for the price, it met our requirements. The view is absolutely stunning!

My stay at Coral was the highlight of my month-long, first-time trip to Thailand. The location is breathtaking. The restaurant patio and adjacent pool are literally right on the beach. The grounds are a magnificent botanical garden filled with orchids and lotus, with mango and papaya trees swaying in the breeze. I can't comment on the full menu as I immediately fell in love with the Burmese curry, though they also had the best calamari I have ever tasted. The true stars of my entire experience were the staff, who welcomed me like a long-lost friend and bid me farewell as if I were family. I won't forget these wonderful people and will return to visit as soon as I can. If you're looking for a party but want more privacy than a hostel offers, Coral is perfect around the full moon. If you seek serenity and calm, Coral is ideal between the full and half moon. If you want it all, just book a fortnight. 😉
