Martinis beach

The staff was excellent and they cater to all of our needs. Does not describe how gorgeous this location is. If you’re looking for something intimate that a resort can’t give you this is the place. We were there for four days and three nights and truly everybody makes you feel like you’re at home. Not one day we felt homesick.

We booked with Barefoot way in advance and had a lot of time to hype up the trip - and it well exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 24 college friends celebrating our 30th birthdays/college reunion and the property is awesome - tons of space with the rooms all with their own bathrooms, plus tons of outdoor covered space, the bar, loft, pool, and not to mention the whole beach right in front of you. We enjoyed all of the food that was prepared, especially the pig roast and Dominican Night. Nina helped arrange a delicious dulce de leche birthday cake for us. The staff were so friendly and always ready to help or mix us another drink. The villa arranged all of our outings and shuttles which made things so easy for a central place to coordinate and pay on one invoice. We had a great time on our cave hiking tour and catamaran sunset tour. We hope to make this a recurring trip and would not hesitate to book with Barefoot Beach Pad again!

Just returned from a few days at the Barefoot Beachpad and loved every minute of it! There are a couple things like the curtains need to be fixed (coming soon) and the hot tub needed a part but those little things were FAR outweighed by Ben and his team. The hospitality was superior and it felt like home while we were there. The fresh pina coladas in the pool, the beach access right there and the friendly staff that provided everything we needed made for a memorable trip. They even booked excursions and took care of transportation everywhere we needed. I will definitely be going back with family and friends and looking at hosting groups there in the not too distant future as well.

From the hospitality to the food to the views, this was the BEST hotel experience me and my husband have ever had!! We only stayed here one night before we came back home but we wish we would have booked it for longer! Ben and his crew made us feel like family and made sure we had the most amazing and relaxing last day in the Dominican! Ben is an absolute brilliant chef (DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING HIS CALAMARI!) And Junior makes the most delicious hand crafted drinks! If you are looking for a quiet place for a relaxing and romantic getaway don't look any further!!

Staff was fabulous. Buffet dining plan and drink package were well worth the cost. Great place to get away to relax.
