I've traveled quite a bit and have stayed in some lovely places, but Esperanza truly stands out. From the moment you check in, you're enveloped in luxury. All your worries melt away at the first security checkpoint. This place offers everything you could possibly need and provides exceptional service. If you need anything, the staff will go above and beyond to accommodate you.

My wife surprised us with a 5-night stay from May 21st to 26th, 2024. I rated this experience poorly due to the lack of integrity among the wait staff (excluding the valet and cleaners). Withholding information for personal gain and failing to clarify billing procedures demonstrates a lack of integrity. There were numerous opportunities for the staff to explain the charges to ensure guests were fully informed. However, every waiter and waitress added an extra 20% - 30% on top of what was already included in the bill. Not a single member of the wait staff during our 5-night stay took a moment to mention this additional charge. Guests should be fully aware of what they are paying for. Failing to do so is dishonest, negligent, and unethical.

The resort is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views. The grounds are incredible, meticulously maintained, and bursting with color. There are plenty of pools, all with ample seating and spectacular views. The restaurants are top-notch, and the service throughout the resort is five-star. However, the rooms were a bit of a letdown for me. They felt somewhat outdated and could use a refresh. With updated rooms, this would be the perfect Cabo vacation spot.

We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at this hidden gem. It was exactly what I needed to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I only wish we could have extended our stay, but now I know where I'll be heading for a longer retreat in the future. This place is ideal for disconnecting and unwinding. We never felt the urge to leave the property. Everything was flawless! Looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I have stayed at numerous luxurious five-star resorts, but none have made us feel as valued and special as our 20th anniversary trip to Esperanza. Our concierge, Karim, went above and beyond the typical duties of a concierge. He was there at every turn to ensure our experience was delightful. If possible, request Karim—he truly is the best. Although we are tempted to explore other resorts in Cabo, the allure of returning to Esperanza is irresistible. Every moment at this resort is a joy.
