I do not typically leave reviews, but do yourself a favor, read this review, and most importantly, avoid this hotel at all cost! As most who need a vacation, many decide to go to Mexico for the beautiful beach, weather, service and food. That is NOT what this resort provides. Here are a few out of many complaints I’d like to disclose: 1. Service — the employees were consistently rude and pliantly annoyed by the guest. Room service was terrible. It took over an hour to get an order of fries, in which, when I did receive them, were cold. You can go 15 minutes at a restaurant before being acknowledged. 2. House keeping — considering this is an all inclusive resort, we never got our refrigerator or snack bar replenished. I called to get more and they never showed up. Each day they simply made the bed and provided clean towels. House keeping quite literally did the bare minimum. 3. Resort — this resort is terribly outdated, the pictures advertised are very misleading. There’s many repairs and upgrades needed to be made. Our room was considered a “suite” but shower heads were broken, pool tiles missing, cracks in the cement, landscaping nonexistent, lock of chairs and towels by the pool, the list goes on. Most importantly, if you are looking for convenience, this is NOT the place. This requires a golf cart each time you want to go to different area of the resort. You must call the hotel to get a cart to pick you up at least 10 minutes prior to actually being ready to leave. And if you’re lucky you get an answer because at times the line consistently rang. This is not a 5 star resort. Terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone looking for a great experience. Spend the extra $100 a night to get the ultimate experience you are looking for!

This was my first all-inclusive experience and I’m honestly quite shocked by the negative reviews. Our family of 22 stayed at this resort for 7 nights and we all had an incredible experience. The food in the restaurants was phenomenal, I don’t think I had a single meal that I didn’t like. The staff went out of their way to make us fee welcome and taken care of - Deybi and Martin at the Peninsula restaurant were so kind each morning at breakfast, I will always remember their hospitality. While at the pool, Oscar took amazing care of our group and checked in to see if we needed any food, drink refills, etc. The grounds were well-maintained and lovely. The rooms were comfortable and had a great view. This is a trip that we will look back on with such fond memories. The only negative that comes to mind is that the resort does not allow Uber to enter, so leaving the resort via one of their shuttles or taxis booked through the concierge was expensive. We will absolutely be back! We were told by numerous staff members that a great time to visit is in December-February when the whales can be seen from the property!

Decent place for less price. Food options were not great. Room services sometimes took longer than usual. Liked all the night events conducted. I’d highly recommend their spa. It’s little bit pricey but so good. There are activities during day around the pool area for adults and sometimes for children too. Great place if there are multiple groups traveling together

We had a phenomenal experience at this resort and highly recommend it. The resort was amazing, and so was the staff. I also inquired of a staff member about their experience working for this company, and they told me about how well the employees are treated, that they are paid fairly, and that the company culture is very cohesive. This made me very happy to be supporting this kind of company with my hard-earned money.

The experience is average overall. The coastline and beaches are nice, and the pools are decent. Avoid visiting in the summer when it's extremely hot, as many restaurants lack air conditioning. The kids' area is outdated with few activities or toys. A major downside is that the resort does not allow Ubers, so getting out requires paying high markups for taxis that overcharge and are not reliable (we had a no-show after paying for a roundtrip).
