Getting to the beach may be difficult, but it's definitely worth it once you arrive. The water is clear, the food is tasty, and the staff is friendly and funny. Mrs. Katerina, the owner, is a lively person known for her amazing Tirokafteri.
The beach is a bit tricky to get to by car, but it's definitely worth the effort. Make sure to park in the upper level and don't forget your swim goggles. The sunset views are absolutely stunning. 🌅
The beach is fantastic! The path to reach it is steep and challenging, so it's best to park halfway to avoid getting stuck at the bottom. Despite being busy during peak season, we still had a great time. The water is incredibly clear, teeming with fish, and I even spotted a turtle 🤩❤️🐢. It's a good idea to reserve an umbrella at one of the two restaurants ahead of time or bring your own.
If you're looking for a memorable adventure, the beach and waters here are truly amazing! It's best to travel by 4x4 or on foot - avoid using any other vehicles like scooters, as many tourists do. Stick to 4x4s or walking to fully enjoy the crystal clear waters and dine at the island's best taverna, where friendly locals will prepare traditional food for you. It's definitely worth it. Afterward, make sure to catch the sunset at the church near the Cheronisos area.
Vroulidia is considered one of the top beaches in Sifnos. It is a pebble beach, so you won't have sand sticking to you. There are two restaurants with small piers in front of the beach to make it easier to access the water while wearing slippers. You can step down the steps and take a dip in the sea. The combination of a great beach and excellent restaurant (Vroulidia, located to the right when you arrive at the beach) makes it a perfect stop on a road trip around Sifnos. It's worth noting that we managed to drive to and from the beach with four people in a rented Hyundai i10, but it was a tight fit. I wouldn't attempt it again and would instead recommend parking the car just above the beach and walking the last 200 meters. The road leading to the beach is very steep and may be challenging for most regular cars. Both restaurants offer beach loungers and umbrellas for rent. Vroulidia restaurant charges EUR 8 for 2 loungers and an umbrella. The service is excellent, and the food is even better. They serve fresh fish, seafood, meat, and vegetarian dishes. My son particularly enjoyed his schnitzel! The house wine is good, and the kitchen and bathrooms are very clean, which is a rare find at a beach.
