Such a Beautiful beach, with clear waters and a large enough shoreline. There is a restaurant and resort nearby. Children play football on the short, but it's advised not to play in the waters

The beach is simply superb but there's shortage of a public toilet. Even though had a private one(10/-for a person)(not well maintained one) There is small resturants and they serves tea and snacks. There is no parking fee untill our last visit on 03/03/2024.Way to the beach is narrowed one, drive safely. Hey!!! If you're lucky there's chance for buying fishes straight from the fishermens at evening time . quotion: 1) Beach is dangerous as same as with beautiful waves. 2) Though this one is less popular,the beach is filled with people in weekends. Road to the beach is not maintained well so that risky for wheelchair patients but the beach is simply awesome.

Small & evening compared to other beaches in kochi a bit cleaner. The road closer to beach is in bad condition. Also there are people who lost lives here while swimming so becarefull.

Puthenthodu beach is a small but pretty nice spot. The beach is crescent shaped and mostly a spot for the fishermen to land their boats (as there is a breach kept in the sea wall for the same). Swimming is not allowed on the beach, with a board mentioning that the sea is unpredictable and many lives have been lost here. However the beach seems pretty shallow and you can walk in the waters. Early morning, you can see the fishermen bringing in their catch. Evenings it is a great spot to see the sunset. There is enough parking space and also a small shop for drinks and snacks. Overall a great beach!
