Eden Beach

Neat and clean beach with a few available eateries. Ideal in the morning or evening...anything in between will burn you nicely! Take a dip in the Bay of Bengal, sip on coconut water and lie in the shady coconut groves by the lagoon. Lots of fishes can be sighted from the culverts and plenty of chirping birds around. Keep atleast 2-3 hours to relax, dip in the sea and soak in the beauty of the place...loved it

A beautiful and clean beach. My favorite in Pondicherry. The vibe here is amazing. You can see the sunrise at the beach and the sunset right across at the back waters. Some fun water activities to do here and if you are a non vegetarian lot of sea food stalls here. Nothing much for vegetarians. But about the beach absolutely loved it 😍

This beach is very clean and calm. They don't allow sellers near the swim area. There is a safe zone marked for swimming, a life guard is always sitting there. Stingrays are seen on the beach but not near to the swimming zone. There is a adventure club and activities also but its far on the right side from the swimming zone. The water is very clean and good for swimming. Very less number if people visit this beach. Perfect for photography. There is this pillared structure right at the entrance of the beach. Changing rooms for men, women, handicapped, are available also Toilets are available. Its free service. There's a lot of food joints but outside the sand area, it seems they are not allowed on beach to avoid pollution of water. The fish food is very tasty and freshly served and at very less price. Maggi, sandwich, rice, sambar, bhaji etc available for veg options. Lemon soda, coconut water is also available to quench thirst after a good beach swim.

A good place for tourists who like cleanliness. This beach has been rewarded with blue flag status. There are many activities fun games inside the Eden beach, situated somewhere deep inside pondicherry,takes about half an hour to reach this beach from town. There are lots of shops located outside. Has a good car parking 50rs. Many PPL bath in beach and this beach has a good changing room. Many persons are deployed for the security purpose who take care of the beach very well.

It is an blue flag certified beach that means it is one of the cleanest beaches in India perfect for family and kids white sand beach you can also get into water upto certain level with the supervision of life gaurds do visit it you would not regret it.
