Lovely beach, the parking is a bit problematic so only takes a few cars at a time, but that helps to keep it quiet.
In terms of natural beauty, it's a lovely stretch of beach. There's no facilities at it (no seating locations, no parking except at the close by train station and a small, pot-holed road to access it) but it's so utterly unspoiled as a result. If what you're looking for is an isolated stretch, it's amazing. A lovely place for a walk. Just don't expect too much entertainment beyond what you being yourself.
Gormanston -Irishtown is such a wonderful beach. This place is highly recommended for the families who want to have their own privacy. Not too many people were in the beach. Only 30 km drive from dublin, you will pass by airport and other beautiful places while driving out. There is no proper parking area and around 100 meter is gravel road . People should drive with caution. Cliff view is mind blowing too, but anyone can walk 2 minutes to get the beach. Some areas in the beach has big stones , however most of the beach is with sand. One of the underrated place in dublin. Families must go for the day trip.
We have relaxing place to breathe ☺️
All the beaches along the coast of North dublin have great walkways and lovely vistas. Wrap up well in the winter season.. enjoy
