We made a lunch reservation in advance due to the busy nature of the beach. We were picked up by a complimentary boat at Amalfi Harbour and taken on a 10-minute journey to Spiaggia Santa Croce, a small cove with two restaurants. We decided to spend the whole day there, so we rented two loungers and an umbrella, which was a bit pricey at 50 euros but worth it for the day. Our loungers were in a great spot on the pontoon right by the sea, although the beach itself was quite pebbly. For lunch, we had a fantastic table on the veranda overlooking the cove, and the staff were quick and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary amuse bouche. The tuna tartar starter was simple in appearance but had excellent flavor with capers and lemon seasoning. The lobster linguini was a generous portion with a large, meaty claw. I opted for the homemade pasta with clams, mussels, and squid, one of my favorite dishes. We enjoyed a bottle of rose wine from Tremonti with our meal. After some time relaxing on the loungers and a refreshing swim, we were picked up at 5pm and taken back to Amalfi. Overall, we had a fantastic day at the beach and want to thank the staff for their hospitality.
It was a great experience visiting this beach and restaurant that can only be reached by boat. We took the free shuttle from Almafi and enjoyed good food, good service, and a nice beach. It's a fun spot to swim and relax. There is another restaurant on the beach and another boat-accessible beach nearby.
The initial impression of the beach was promising, as it was only accessible by boat and offered a private setting for an afternoon of relaxation. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Despite being one of the pricier restaurants we visited, it turned out to be one of the worst. The view of the beach and the sound of the waves were enjoyable, but the food was overpriced and lacking in flavor. It seemed so average that I questioned if it was even homemade. As the restaurant became busier, the service declined. The private beach itself was not great, with a rocky terrain that required chairs for comfort. The cost of renting four chairs was an additional $100, so we decided to cut our losses and leave after waiting 20 minutes for the free boat shuttle.
It's a great seafood restaurant located at a beach club just a 10-minute boat ride from Amalfi port. The entire experience of traveling there, relaxing on the private beach, and enjoying a late lunch is fantastic. Like many Italian restaurants, it closes in the afternoon and reopens around 7:30. We passed the time by the beach, which was lovely. We started with a seafood mix appetizer, shared a spaghetti with mussels, and each had the fried sea bass as our main course. We ended our meal with a deliciously creamy and fresh lemon sorbet. Highly recommended!
The food and atmosphere at this beach in Naples are top-notch, especially when enjoying the night sky. The customer service is excellent as well. I would definitely come back to eat here again.
