An absolute disaster. No road indication, so you wander around hoping to bump into the beach establishment you had selected. Then you get there and …the Hera Lido is closed. People around you, 99% local, trll that they have no idea if they will ever open again. You choose a different place, nice, comfy. Then tou realize you go to the toilet and toilet paper is not there…in short: stay away. An hour down south you have Apulia.

Vast free beach interspersed with beaches, composed mostly of sand with some areas of medium-small pebbles. The sea is clean, in the afternoon it is always rougher than in the morning. In the week of August it was full of jellyfish, so be careful.
Except for the view with the mountains as a backdrop and the immense width of the beach, otherwise the beach is quite ugly, the sand is dark and stony, the sea is clean but nothing special, no particular play of colour.
It is a beautiful, well-equipped beach, the public ones are equipped with free shower facilities. Each descent to the sea has its own walkway. Crowded seafront in the evening, for walking, eating and/or drinking something. Clean water. Really good, well done.
