I absolutely loved this beach in Siracusa! It may be small, but it has such a cozy atmosphere. I would suggest wearing appropriate footwear as it can be a bit uncomfortable on your feet.
While it may not be the most exceptional beach (don't expect anything like the Maldives here...), it does offer a fantastic opportunity for a final dive during your visit to Syracuse. Don't forget to bring your towels, as there are convenient fresh water showers available on-site!
The beach in Ortigia is quite small and can be accessed by descending a set of steps. It is advisable to wear beach shoes due to the abundance of pebbles.
The beach is located in a small bay, providing a pleasant cobble beach experience away from the intense sun. It is on the smaller side and tends to get crowded quickly. Showers are available for use. However, like many places in Sicily, plastic pollution and garbage are unfortunately an issue here as well.
The beach is small and doesn't charge an entrance fee. The water is clean and there are rocks in the water where you can sunbathe. There is a wall in the background that provides shade, causing the sun to set earlier than anticipated. There are two showers, but no changing cabins are provided.
