The view was amazing from the room. Other than that there's not much good things to say about the resort. Highly inaccessible location, only way to get to the resort is via a 15 mins trek through the jungle from ABC Village or to take a sea taxi from ABC. Do note that sea taxis are usually not available after 5pm due to low tides. Food was average, the service was not that great, took us 1hr just to serve a plate of chicken wings and some fries. Basic services such as laundry was not available as they claimed to have insufficient manpower to operate. Room was decent, good view, toilet was okay. AC was very good. Beach accessible. No activity booking was available or nearby the resort. Had to venture around the island to book and do the activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, massage and ect. Good resort to R&R but not recommended for activities kind of vacation.
There is only good sea view from the room, nothing else. Food choices are very limited to burgers and tomyam. Those are not tasty too. No WiFi, water kettle, shops or other restaurants. No toiletries provided. No water activities are provided. Need to pay for boat to go to main port (Kampung ABC) as they are a private island. Difficult to get a boat from other village to Panuba.
My personal opinion is as follows: 1. Panuba Inn location is lovely as it's away from the usual crowd and has its very own beach front. 2. Rooms - good pricing, but it still needs a lot more TLC as it's basic with working Air Conditioning & Water Heater. There are lots of ants thou in the room, so we need to be careful. The bathroom needs better scrubbing to make it more appealing. The room is on top. Hence, the view is awesome You will notice there are afew other rooms require renovation and upgrading. 3. Cafe - we still enjoyed our meals, even if it was basic menus. There is room for improvement there. 4. Staff, i.e., kitchen helpers, front desk, boat guys - although the many lots were under internships, they are very friendly and helpful when we interact socially with them. Overall - the beach, the view & the sunset made my trip an enjoyable one.
We arrived at Panuba Inn Resort after a long day of travelling. The resort was in such disrepair and filthy throughout, there was no facility for us to get some refreshments or food, as every where was closed, the staff at the resort treated us as if we were a real inconvenience to them, they even charged us for the boat to take us back where they offer a free boat service. Did I say the place was so dirty and falling apart. Needless to say we cancelled and found somewhere much cleaner.
