The walk to the beach is just as beautiful as the beach itself. It's a hidden gem.
This beach in Huatulco was our favorite! It's easy to catch a taxi to the trailhead, then a simple walk on a well-maintained, jungle-filled path. It only took us 20 minutes with our two kids. There are plenty of lizards and butterflies to spot. The beach doesn't have any services, so make sure to bring everything you need. However, because of this, it's much less crowded than other bays. Some boats do come into the bay to drop off people for snorkeling or beach enjoyment. Snorkeling from the shore was easy and we saw a variety of fish. There isn't much shade, so keep that in mind. Arrive early for fewer people. When you're ready to leave, it's easy to catch a taxi back to town on the main route. Remember to take your garbage with you to help keep this beach clean and beautiful!
This beach, along with La India, are the top spots in Huatulco. While they may not offer any services, they are ideal for those who appreciate wide open spaces, tranquility, and pristine beaches.
The beach is lovely and peaceful. It's about an 800-meter walk, but if you're lucky, you might be able to bike along the trail if it's been cleared.
Someone else mentioned that this beach is a beautiful spot, about a 10-15 minute walk in depending on how much you're carrying. They recommend packing light because a 25-pound inflatable SUP can get heavy after a while.
