This beach was awesome. The water was fairly calm on the day we went. There's a great sandbar so you can go out quite far in the ocean and it's not very beautiful. No end of entertainment and vendors on the beach. So many bars, restaurants and things to do on this beach. It is just fantastic. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping in and taking a dip!
Lots of action on the beach on a Sunday. Mexican flare, with many local families enjoying the beach . The beach is flat, clean, soft and had a gold fleck in it. Memories of watching the fishermen come in with their catch and pelicans waiting in line for their piece of the scrapes. Watched this from a little restaurant on the beach. Wonderful place.
Great walking around. Lots of tourist shops to buy stuff. Next town over had more stores that you might need items.
Guayabitos has so much potential to become a beach destination. I booked a boat trip to see the multiple beaches in the area and got shorthanded. They promised to take me to 5 beaches but went only to 4. Similar experiences by others in the tour. Guayabitos's beach and town could use some cleaning. Isla Caracoles was very pretty, and I enjoyed the time we spent there. The beach is beautiful and small. They need to control the frequency of tours and the number of tourists allowed.
If you want to visit Authentic Mexico then come to Rincon de guayabitos. Great shopping and food. The beach and ocean are wonderful. Don't miss the Monday market. Make sure to have a language phrasebook.
