We stayed at Deluxe two bedroom villa for five nights, and it was a wonderful holiday - very relaxing, great service, good food and friendly staff. Everything about the resort was perfect for a great holiday. The manager and staff were very kind and accommodating of our needs. Having a small shop in the premises was very handy, and the resort also organised other activities such as tennis, day trips to nearby island for snorkelling trips, kayaking and daily trips to the town etc, and all these were included in the room price and there was no extra fee! The staff are very kind and always willing to help!
Six of us embarked on a six-night getaway in the charming three-bedroom villa. Positioned perfectly between the restaurant and the pool, our villa boasted stunning views of the outer islands and offered a level of privacy that felt like our own little haven. Sure, the two spare bedrooms had a unique feature – a direct line of communication through the roof, which could be a bit tricky for those who snore like freight trains! But the lounge provided a peaceful retreat for late-night readers, and the shared bathroom was sealed off for added privacy, so it didn't bother us. When it comes to location, villas 1 to 7 hugged the beach, offering direct access to the water but sacrificing a bit of privacy as passersby strolled by. Villas 9 and 10, on the other hand, offered a more secluded experience with equally stunning views. As for Villas 12 and 11, they promised privacy but came with a caveat – a constant stream of boats ferrying eager snorkelers right in front of your doorstep! And let's not forget the star attraction – the pool! Fabulous and rendering the idea of a private plunge pool unnecessary in my opinion... But what truly shone during our stay were the moments of care and support we received during a medical emergency. Pascale, the on-site manager, was an absolute gem, orchestrating doctor visits, taxi transfers and medication.... ensuring we had everything we needed. As for the resort itself, it was a true gem just a short distance from the airport. The house reef was lovely, boasting coral that rivaled even the most renowned Pacific and remote destinations. The best part? Your own personal boat service, ready to whisk you away to nearby islands at a moment's notice – a luxury included in your stay! We used this service at least twice daily, it truly made the resort a fantastic ROI for us... That's something you'd have to shell out hundreds of dollars for at any other place! The food was delightful, reflecting the local standards, and the staff were nothing short of amazing. Mistakes happened, as they do on any island, but their dedication to making things right was truly commendable. And when it came to activities, there was no shortage of fun – from biking to kayaking to paddleboarding. Six nights might seem like a lot, but it gave us ample time to enjoy every moment without feeling rushed. Plus, a rainy day or two? Just the perfect excuse to curl up with a good book! In short, this resort is a gem. Perfect for a family getaway. Highly recommended!
We have just returned from staying at Eratap Resort for our 20th Wedding anniversary. Absolutely stunning place. So much consideration has gone into the design of the resort so as to offer complete privacy in every spacious beachfront Bure. We were blown away by the Complimentary bus transfers, two boats with drivers, water sports equipment, kayaks, sups, bikes, snorkelling gear, fire dancers, kava ceremony, and village tour. Then, there’s the great food and adults only pool making for a very special holiday. Reef out the front, surf a paddle away, an exclusive private island nearby. Add to that the happy and helpful staff, all who praise their boss Tony and manager Pascale and you have an all round brilliant resort! Well done Eratap. Thank you, We will return.
From the moment we landed and were given the most joyous friendly greeting, to arriving at the glorious Eratap resort where everyone involved is so warm, friendly and helpful, to the outstanding accommodation, the magical beach, the delicious food and on and on. This place is like heaven on earth , and we loved it so much we are going back with our family in November. Thank you to you all, from the top down everyone is incredible.
We stayed at eratap beach resort for 6 nights for our honeymoon- we stayed in villa 11 (honeymoon villa). Robert picked us up from the airport with cold bottles of water, was super friendly and chatted with us about Vanuatu on the way to the resort (30mins from airport). On arrival Pascal greeted us and checked us in, she spent 10mins chatting to us about the resort, activities and answered our questions, we received a welcome drink on arrival (delicious). Robert kindly took our bags to our room for us. Our honeymoon villa was amazing! The bed was very comfortable, large shower & bathroom, air-conditioning worked perfectly. The living area was large and comfortable sofas. The restaurant has amazing food, all staff were so kind & welcoming- Mel was especially great! We used the spa, Anna & Elody were so friendly and providing a relaxing experience. The resort offers many different activities with no charge, we went on the village tour, daily trips to Port Vila, yoga session & experienced the fire dancing night (AMAZING). We also used the resort activities such as doing a drift snorkel around the big island- INCREDIBLE snorkelling & we swam with 2 dugongs! Pascal is an incredible staff member, she organised all of our external activities (blue lagoon, waterfalls, fishing charter) and was so kind & accomodating. I couldn't recommend this resort enough, a fantastic place & wonderful honeymoon experience.
