Palau Pacific Resort

Nothing but great things to say about my experience at this property. Snorkeling on the property is a huge amenity, in my opinion. Every day there is an expansive breakfast buffet, and the selection of foods changes daily. The staff are very friendly. Can recommend without hesitation.

***** Here’s What You Need to Know ****** * Two weeks of heaven at PPR! * Worth every penny! A little more expensive than other properties, but an oasis of tranquility. * Yes, it’s not on the strip in “downtown” #Koror, but a lot of restaurants will come pick you up. * And, if you can afford to stay here, you can afford to rent a car. * Contrary to a previous reviewer, the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Kowei and Trolli were uber-gracious at breakfast. And Aaron and Max make the best omelets and fried eggs. Joe was super-helpful with our luggage. * Also, contrary to a previous reviewer, the Japanese guests are meticulously polite. The errant reviewer may have confused them with Mainland #Chinese. * I’m embarrassed that it is Americans and to a greater extent, Mainland #Chinese from the #PRC who are the most obnoxious, talking loudly at breakfast and acting inconsiderately around the pool deck. * The Germans from a cruise ship were exceptionally well-behaved, exhibiting their customary and stereotypical reserve. (Although they did try to sneak in some topless sunbathing). Guests from #RepublicofChina #Taiwan #ROC are the model of comportment. * Nós #brasileiros gostaríamos apenas que o jantar fosse servido mais tarde. * We had a seaside-view room that was exceptionally well thought-out. Huge king-sized bed with perfect combination of firmness and comfort. * Room on shelf inside the closet for 2 checked bags and 2 carry ons. * Bathroom has a Japanese toilet and frosted glass for soft light. * You don’t need to bring a hair dryer. One is provided. * Only small suggestion would be to update the night stands with USB and USB-C ports. See pic of adapter I needed to bring. ** If you have questions about PPR, put them in Google Maps and I’ll post an answer. Okay, PPR may not be on par with your Vidanta timeshare at Puerto Vallarta. But it more than makes up for it with an attentive staff. Listen, to put it in perspective, #Palau has 1/2 the median household income as Mexico, with only 20,000 inhabitants. Show some appreciation.

Great place. Definitely worth checking out if you are planning on visiting Palau. Although the price is high I believe my stay was worth the expense. For simplicity, I have outlined some pros/cons. Highlights: -Amazing views -Beachfront -Walkable -Competent and helpful staff -Large waterside pool and hot tub -Access to a small gym, showers and multiple small hot tubs near the exercise facility -Dive shop -Daily activities -Strong air conditioning in room -Access to rentable outdoor equipment -Beachfront bar Downsides: -Food was hit or miss -Mosquitos -Simple rooms Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Palau Pacific Resorts. The staff were responsive and helpful, and the views were amazing. The resort provided daily activities and access to rental outdoor gear. While the rooms are slightly outdated and the food was often a gamble, I felt that my stay was worth it.

Reah was absolutely unreal!! She took the best care of us and catered to our every need. She preempted our drink orders and was always so attentive in making sure we were okay and satisfied. Cannot say enough positive words about Reah!! She is the best!! We came as a group of six to the pool and resort for a day pass. Was a lovely day relaxing by the pool and swimming is the ocean. Would definitely recommend!

Very beautiful surroundings, a private beach and a kind staff. A little renovation needed, but a place to definitely visit. Survivor was filmed on this island in the Western Pacific, Koror Island
