Well, what can I say about this beach? The water here is cleaner than in the center of Gelendzhik Bay. After all, this is the edge of Cape Tolstoy. The coastline is narrow because most of the beach is occupied by the buildings of the Metropol Hotel. But there is a plus from this: Metropol workers keep order and check the temperature of everyone who wants to go to the beach. There is a significant drawback: there are a lot of small midges that stick around you and not only tickle you, crawling over your body, but also bite you. The wife could not stand them and demanded that they go to another beach.
At the moment the beach is not the "polar star" but the "Kempinski" beach. There is a security guard at the entrance who measures everyone’s body temperature. There is parking nearby, 50 rubles. one hour. Be prepared that everything on the beach itself is expensive, but who can afford it relaxes and enjoys it. Sun lounger "white" (plastic) 1000 rub. Sun lounger "beige" (fabric) 2000 rub. Umbrellas are not opened when the wind is not very strong, for fear that it will blow away. On the beach itself the pebbles are small and it hurts to walk. There are no free umbrellas. There is not much space, after lunch people start walking over their heads.
The best beach in Gelendzhik. The hotel administration's tolerance towards non-hotel guests and at the same time maintaining a 5* level is commendable!
cool beach _____________ And again I’m in Gelendzhik, now this is the beach of the Kempinski Hotel. A little has changed there, they made a volleyball court, but the sea basically remains the same. Crabs, pebbles... Nice beach, I recommend it.
