Not the best beach but good enough for a cruise liner visitor like us to just spend a few hours at the beach. The beach is long and narrow dotted with restaurants that provide sun lounge chairs for rent. Every establishment charges the lounge chairs differently, we asked 2 and each was 40€ and 50€. We found the further end part of the beach is cleaner and free of pebbles and seaweed. The water is not crystal clear but clean enough to take a cooling swim under the hot sun. We saw the hat and sunnies seller walking past but was not hassle. Be warn, there are no shady spot at all at the beach so bring your own sun umbrella. And the parking entry is 7€ per vehicle.
3/5. Clear water but tractors will carry chairs from 1 restaurant to other which makes beach sand dirty. Parking place is full of mud and water. Check photos. Pls note it’s €7 for parking
Visited during the winter season, early March. Of course very different to the summer period, where it's quite the attraction and has a few bars along the beach (which is lovely) and it was a beautiful walk through the woods to get here. Also nice to see the difference to really appreciate the area itself and would highly recommend it when visiting. Just be aware in the summer it's best to get there early as parking can be mega busy! Beautiful beach and great food. Very relaxing and only a few mins from Ibiza town. Many women are topless and we noticed a few men naked.
At the southern part of the island is the famous beach Las Salinas or Ses Salines, with soft, fine sand, it is the first stop that many visitors to the island make. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza. Further on you will find the famous salt flats. Try the famous Ibiza salt and feel the difference such a small detail makes in your meal. However, despite the wonderful beach, the parking lot is a big disappointment, where they charge 7 euros without giving a receipt, to park in a place full of mud.
