The beach is very beautiful, with very white sand and sheltered from the “north”. A good place to disconnect and enjoy nature, away from everything, with somewhat complicated access and with that charm of virgin places (please don't let it change). The only “luxury” is the picnic area located at the top of the beach, where you can prepare a good steak on the stone barbecues.
Extraordinary beach in a magnificent cove protected by the entire environment. It is difficult to get there by car on narrow paved roads. The existing park was a bit abandoned, but it is worth visiting.
Beach located between Malpica and Barizo. It is a very sheltered beach when it is very windy. At low tide it has coves that you can enjoy walking along the shore. It has a rest area with tables to enjoy a picnic. The only drawback is that it does not have a lifeguard service.
Praia de Beo is located in the municipality of Malpica de Bergantiños. It is the last beach before the Santo Hadrián peninsula. It is landlocked between the tip of Pendurada to the north and the tip of Galina (or EntreTorres) to the south. Unless the winds come from the North-West, it is generally well protected. The late afternoon light is magical. It brings out the yellow and ocher tones of the Pendurada cliff while the Entretorres cliff stands out in the backlight. The one kilometer path which leaves on the right between Beo and Seiruga is sumptuous with a succession of deep coves and islets in jagged cliffs. Praia de Beo is well equipped. In addition to a water point for rinsing off, it is topped by a picnic area with self-service brick barbecues. Access is one way. Arrival is via the small country road to the north. It passes by a hill which offers very beautiful rural views of Beo. There is no real parking, but around twenty cars can park without problem on the shoulder. It would probably be a little too tight for a camper van. The exit is the village of Beo in the South. Our only regret is that we only stayed too short a time. Beo and its immediate surroundings are worth setting aside a day for.
Nice beach. Not too big. With showers and fine sand
