The bay has crystal-clear waters that allow us to see the sea floor from several meters away. The turquoise color of the water is due to the sandy bottom. There are no designated resting spots in the bay, but you can sunbathe on the rocks.
The beach is located a 20-minute walk from Altinkoy and boasts a beautiful bay. While the sandy bottom may pose a slight challenge upon entering the water, once you're in, it's pure paradise.
Sığacık is a fantastic bay that is just a short boat ride away from the harbor. The water is refreshingly cold and incredibly clear, even in the hot July weather.
After passing the Altınköy houses, you can access the beach by taking the forest road, which is not recommended for regular vehicles. The road is rough and more suitable for an ATV, as low cars may get stuck. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk from Altınköy beach to reach here. You can enter the beach either through the seaweed or by climbing over the rocks if you have water shoes. I didn't have water shoes, so I climbed over the rocks to get in. It may be challenging for children and elderly individuals to enter and exit the beach. Once you're in, the beach is completely sandy. Experienced swimmers can come here from Altınköy or even venture to Demircili Bay for a more challenging swim. Make sure to bring water and tea with you. There are a few trees providing shade, but the area tends to be crowded. People also arrive at the beach from Seferihisar by boat.
It is a bay that we accessed by driving through the forest on an ATV. There used to be an entrance from the parking lots near Altınköy beach, at the end of the stream, but it is now closed off with fences, making it challenging to enter and exit. The beach is surrounded by a beautiful forest, and the sea is pristine, although it can be tricky to enter the water from the shore, so I suggest bringing sea shoes.
