Decided to go paddling in winter on one of the coldest days. I found it fun and loved it as I kayak thu out the year. Loe beach is always a easy place to launch from. Love it. Did not see one other person on the beach today nor any kayakers. I can guess why 😆 🤣 🌊🚣⚓️🥶
Love Loe Beach, stunning setting all year round. Excellent for swimming, sheltered and safe. Gets very busy and has limited car parking. Car Park is run by Pond life who are very Draconian and that’s the only reason I have marked it down
Secluded pebble beach, closest to Truro . Suitable for kayaking, rowing, puddling and small designated area for swimming. Car parking owned by unpleasant guy who put charge even for loading boats , £5 for launching. There is a lovely car park near the church on the top of the hill in the village with a splendid serenity views while walking down the beach. The car park charge is charitable recommended £2 and you could stay as long as you wish. God save us all.
Lovely quiet beach, a very hidden and private place. Car park is limited, and access to private driveways need to be maintained. Also the roads accessing the beach are very tight and inclined, so wide or low cars could have an issues. Otherwise a beautiful place in sunny or overcast weather. Great for fishing or a gentle swim!
Great for kids to paddle. £3 parking all day. Cafe serves good food. Public toilets. Can hire kayaks and paddle boards, to get round to Pandora Inn. Dog friendly.
