The beach is incredibly peaceful and serene. It's important to check the tide schedule. It's also a great spot for discovering fossils.
This is the best beach I've been to for finding fossils! The views are amazing and there are plenty of fossils to discover. However, collecting them is not allowed and I wouldn't suggest swimming or paddling here because of the strong current.
The views were amazing and the pebble beach was lovely. We arrived just before sunset and had a wonderful time enjoying the beach all to ourselves.
There is no sand at this beach, it is quite rocky. However, you can enjoy pleasant walks along the coast for as long as you'd like. Just be aware that there are parking charges of around £1.50 for a couple of hours, and you'll need a phone signal to pay again if you're far away by then. On the bright side, there is a nice café where you can have afternoon tea, and if you choose to dine there, parking is free. Additionally, this beach is dog-friendly.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the car park to reach the beach. You can head towards the coastal paths by going around the duck pond. The beach is made up of large stones and offers plenty of fossils to discover. With its accessible coastal paths and breathtaking views, it's an ideal spot for a day of exploration.
