The beach is a great spot for families and friends, and they host an annual polar plunge to support the Special Olympics.
The beach is stunning, with easy access to your spot. It's very clean, wheelchair-friendly, has a small shop area, food options, and is perfect for enjoying the ocean and sunshine.
The beach is absolutely stunning. It stretches for a long distance with plenty of spots to access the water. I visited on a Wednesday and had no trouble finding space to set up my blanket and chairs. There was ample parking available as well. The beach offers restrooms, food options, and a store where you can buy essentials. Overall, it was clean and well-maintained.
We tried the lobster rolls at this beach and they were really delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't take a picture, but overall it's a nice beach. I believe it's around $12 per person unless you have a pass.
The seagulls were a bit overwhelming, making it difficult to enjoy a meal without them swooping down and snatching food. They even got into a scuffle on my blanket over a sandwich. Thankfully, a fellow beachgoer helped shoo them away. Despite the seagull situation, the beach and water were fantastic, perfect for kids to swim in. The beach itself was very clean. Just be aware of the seagull situation before visiting.
